Hel (Norse God of the underworld)
Tattoo design study done. Inspired by Alphonse Mucha’s Art nouveau style of work with a little of the Norse mythology slightly added into the mix. Kinda like how i added the tattoo on her chin like a Celtic warrior, shes more of a vindictive shamanic queen rather than a warrior like Sif.
Always wanted a classy girl in my life but somehow in my dark mind, there’s a void that is starting to destroy that light within me. Call me melancholic but the world i have created is starting to crumble and all that is left of the battle is between the executioner and the villain of this story, yet he is winning…turning everything all dark…oh well.
Use this at will for a tattoo, just as long as you show me a picture of the ink then its fine by me. :)
Amazing!

Runes that spell hel:
N/H- Hagalaz: rune of swift and often violent change(positive normally).
E/F(downward F)-Ansuz: odin’s rune, communication, inspiration.
L(inverted)-Laguz: rune of water(water creates life), birth. but inverted meaning confusion and being brought down by fear.
Info in case you want to know what it means.

I’m still trying to get the redstone circuit working so that it will keep the time of day… It’s giving me some trouble, but I’m getting there I think.
The other structure to the right is my RedStone example museum along with some street lamps that only turn on when the sun goes down.
If you’re a mathematics person, this is an article about a really cool theory about prime numbers that has finally been proven.
If you’re a people person, this is a story of a guy who couldn’t get a job in academia, who had to work at Subway at one point, but kept doing what he loves, and now he’s gonna have a theorem in his name to last forever. Pretty cool. My fave quotes from the article:
Zhang said he feels no resentment about the relative obscurity of his career thus far. “My mind is very peaceful. I don’t care so much about the money, or the honor,” he said. “I like to be very quiet and keep working by myself.”
“There are a lot of chances in your career, but the important thing is to keep thinking.”
I THOUGHT THIS WAS KIDDING SOGMLASG
HOLY SHIT

CHASE CHASE CHASE IS AWESOME
Kirsty Mitchell’s late mother Maureen was an English teacher who spent her life inspiring generations of children with imaginative stories and plays. Following Maureen’s death from a brain tumour in 2008, Kirsty channelled her grief into her passion for photography.
She retreated behind the lens of her camera and created Wonderland, an ethereal fantasy world. The photographic series began as a small summer project but grew into an inspirational creative journey.
‘Real life became a difficult place to deal with, and I found myself retreating further into an alternative existence through the portal of my camera,’ said the artist. (read the rest here).

Dominance/Submission is often looked at in one of two ways, as coming from a place of power and mental health, or from a place of weakness and mental disturbance.
